It’s too bad there’s no collector’s edition that includes reading glasses.
You may think the price of £64.99 for six games ranging from about 20 to 35 years old a little steep – and it is – but it’s still fantastic that we’re able to play some of the most historically important RPGs ever made on modern consoles. Still, unlike how the more recent Final Fantasy games lean into beautiful graphics and action-packed spectacle, these pixel recreations are more squarely (less Enixly) aimed at Final Fantasy fans like myself. And boy, do we love to nitpick. This collection is great… while also feeling like a missed opportunity.
