CRUEL council bosses at Bristol planned to fly a traumatised, destitute domestic violence victim back to Sweden instead of housing her in the city, even though she has the right to live here.
Mina (not her real name) was granted permanent UK residency after fleeing Sweden with her five children and moving into Bristol’s temporary accommodation. Three years on, Bristol said it was kicking out the family, who have Somali heritage, and would pay for a flight to Sweden, or take the children into care.
