Tokyo 2020 Olympic silver medallist and current world champion Marius Cozmiuc, 30, is targeting a fourth Olympic Games at Paris 2024. A stalwart of the Romanian national team, Cozmiuc made his Olympic debut at London 2012 and has competed at 12 European championships. His first came three days after his eighteenth birthday, in the same four that won the 2010 junior worlds at Racice, Czech Republic. Rowing runs in the family; Cozmiuc’s wife, Ionela, is an Olympian and triple world champion lightweight sculler.
