End-of-season blues? Nothing to do now that another shooting season has slipped into history? You must be joking! February has got to be one of the busiest months of the year, it is a struggle to fit everything in. Those people who put the gun away until October comes around again are missing out on a lot of fun. A glance at the diary shows that almost every day and night, in the month is accounted for. To start there is the roe doe cull to complete: two off our little bit of ground and four from a neighbour’s farm will see the job done. Barring bad weather we should manage it with plenty of time to spare before the 31 March closing date.
