The opportunity to use a brush with liquid graphite with which to both draw and paint makes liquid graphite attractive to traditional watercolourists as well as mixed-media artists.
Using a semi-synthetic brush with plenty of spring helps the medium to glide over the surface. To clean your brushes after working with liquid graphite, use lukewarm water and a little liquid detergent. Your brushes will be as good as new and ready for you to begin painting again! There is no need to work with an old brush or other implement to mix the colour. Liquid graphite will not damage your paintbrushes.
