Chap Spring 20 is our Hollywood Golden Age special. Our main interview is with dapper actor Alec Baldwin, with profiles of Ava Gardner and Robert Mitchum and a top five Ava Gardner film list. We also meet living 60s legend Rita Tushingham from 1961’s A Taste of Honey. Photographs of lovely ladies in vintage Hollywood style include sensational Marilyn Monroe doppelganger Isabella Bliss. Olly Smith celebrates the joys of Scotch whisky, Sophia Coningsby smokes some Cuban cigars, and Chris Sullivan explores the Hollywood establishments that still evoke the Golden Age. Sartorial features include an interview with the costume designer on Agatha Christie’s The Pale Horse; plus the importance of Spearpoint Collars and a sartorial ramble through London. All this plus Am I Chap? and sartorial and etiquette advice from our new butler, Mr. Gimpley-Spankworth.
