Canadian company, Off Grid Trek, makes solar products designed for you to go further, longer, while in remote places. Based in Calgary, Alberta, this company believes in building cost-effective, high-quality, and extremely efficient solar products. Designing lightweight and compact gear, without giving up convenience, is what Off Grid Trek is all about. The company is relatively new, as its first product showing was at the 2018 BC Overland Rally.

Owner, Rene Strinholm, has an insatiable love for the outdoors. Years of off-grid adventures have given him exciting experiences— like canoeing the Yukon River with his two Akita pups for 10 days and climbing Mount Kilimanjaro. He appreciates living simply with minimal comforts while traveling remotely. His acknowledgement and experience with Mother Nature, as well as his varied and extensive professional background, is why he founded Off Grid Trek.
