Whatever your level of running, 10K races are a great challenge. They’re a great target for those who’ve recently started running, and those with more experience can aim for a PB.
As more races start to appear on the horizon for 2021, you may find you’re able to enter a real 10K. But if not, it’s a manageable distance to do as a solo race, as it shouldn’t need too many laps of your local park to reach your own finish line.
Your training
We’ve included three training plans for different runners; those just starting out, those who have run a 5K or two and now want to run a bit further, and those who are comfortable with the 10K distance.
There’s also a home workout included that you can do to supplement your running.
