Climax Studios is a multidisciplinary game developer headquartered in Portsmouth, UK. As one of the UK’s veteran game studios, we run the gamut of projects with credits for co-development on AAA titles through to work on original IPs, released on every mainstream platform. We’ve had the pleasure of working on nextgen consoles, augmented and virtual reality, and even locationbased haptic VR experiences.
With this varied workload comes a chance to work on a diverse range of art styles. For example, one game could take place in a hyper-realistic sci-fi forest, whilst another in a lowpolygon, hand-painted fantasy dungeon. This artistic diversity means that Climax gets frequent opportunities to work on a broad range of titles with clients including Microsoft, 2K Games and Codemasters on IPs such as Jumanji, Adventure Time, Assassin’s Creed and Silent Hill. More recently, we contributed to the successful Mafia: Definitive Edition and Wasteland 3.
