FEBRUARY— THE CALENDAR’S NO-MAN’S LAND

It’s squarely in the middle of winter, and it is usually cold, but it often teases us with warmer days and hints of what spring might be like. The sun is still scarce, even if we are seeing a few more minutes of daylight as we slowly plod on to March and the beginning of spring.

Soon, we’ll finally be able to get out and start to prepare the ground for our best garden ever, do a little maintenance on our home and vehicles, and take care of many other tasks we’ve been thinking about for months. All will be right with the world again … assuming the spring showers are within reason.
