WE HAD booked a week in a house in Dunkeld and it turned out to be in one of the most spectacular situations we have ever seen.
It sits on the edge of Loch Craiglush and is surrounded by five acres of beautiful woodland. There is an abundance of wildlife including deer and beavers, ducks and geese and much more.
The osprey nest is just a mile away at Loch of the Lowes and the male bird came to fish in our loch. From the nature centre, we saw the female sitting on the nest diligently guarding her eggs. It was an amazing sight.
