Doddie Weir and Vinnie Buckley enjoyed the game.
Glassary Primary School pupil Vinnie Buckley represented Scotland on Saturday November 17 as a mascot for the rugby game against South Africa at BT Murrayfield.
Vinnie had to turn up early so he could go through a rehearsal without the players and then took his place in the tunnel and waited to run out with the team before kick off. He ran on to the pitch in front of a capacity crowd with Scotland centre Huw Jones. As the team lined up for the national anthem Vinnie was standing in front of Captain Greig Laidlaw and full back Stuart Hogg (Vin GL SH). At half time he and his mum, Jenny, got to meet Doddie Weir and had their picture taken with the ex-Scotland star who was at Murrayfield to raise awareness for his My Name5 Doddie appeal for Motor Neurone Disease.
