Work on the new Arran ferry continues apace at Ferguson’s yard on the Clyde

Here is the new Arran ferry which should be in service late next year.

This new artist’s impression was released this week as it was revealed that the construction of the £48.5 million vessel is approaching a new project milestone.

The first of two dual fuel ferries, currently known as Hull 801, and earmarked for the Brodick to Ardrossan route, has almost reached the 75 per cent steelwork fabrication stage, Caledonian Maritime Assets Limited (CMAL) has announced.
