A PROBLEM SHARED
I’ve just starting seeing a guy and he told me that he’s HIV positive. I’m negative, and he’s on treatment, but I hate to admit that I’m still worried. What are the actual chances of my catching it? I’m also worried what some of my friends might think.

Got a problem? Dr Ranj Singh is here to off er his advice
First, let me reassure you that there is nothing wrong with seeing or having a relationship with someone who is HIV positive. We all need to work to remove this kind of stigma because it’s unfair and simply not warranted. HIV still needs to be taken seriously, but the condition no longer has the implications once associated with it.
