Renault is investing heavily in improving battery technology

enault will introduce an all-new generation of electric cars from 2028, with the promise of such significant improvements in efficiency, charging, sustainability and functionality that they will in effect “catch up two generations in one”.
One year on from its foundation, the Renault Group’s Ampere division has outlined plans to slash battery costs by 50% over the next three years, boost rolling efficiency to 5.2 miles per kWh and cut charging times to just 15 minutes.
