THE NEXT-GENERATION Hyundai Santa Fe will receive a significant design overhaul next year as the Korean car maker’s largest SUV looks set to continue to offer seven seats and a selection of hybrid powertrains.
A heavily updated prototype of the Santa Fe was photographed testing on public roads in Germany. The model appears to feature a much more squared-off silhouette than the previous Santa Fe, with key design changes made to the roof and A-pillar, along with new lights at the front and rear. The current Santa Fe sits on Hyundai-Kia’s N3 Y6 platform, but the new model, which is likely to be launched in 2024, will make use of the firm’s N3 structure, set to be shared with the new Kia Sorento.
