THE FASTEST CAR IN THE WORLD
Without doubt one of the coolest cars to hit a race track in 2018 was the Porsche 919 Evo. Neel Jani captured the imagination when he took this unrestricted sportscar around Spa quicker than Lewis Hamilton’s 2017 Belgian Grand Prix pole time, then Timo Bernhard recorded a scarcely believable 5m19.5s lap of the Nurburgring’s fearsome Nordschleife. When Porsche off ered Autosport the chance of a behind-the scenes look at the incredible car and to talk to the engineers and drivers involved, it was an easy decision to make.
