ENGLAND, as ever,captured most gold medals at the GB Juniors and Youth tournament at the Sport Wales National Centre, but a rampant Scotland were only two behind with a best-ever 14.

The hosts, with just one secured by the interval – and that on a walkover – finished strongly with no fewer than six more in a 15-bout afternoon session. It was a weekend of shocks, with several highly touted young prospects suffering setbacks, some for the first time in their fledgling careers.
