YEOVIL’S Dean Dodge moved to 10 fights unbeaten with a wide 60-55 verdict in a six-threes against Birmingham’s former English super-bantam king Sean Davis atop a Priority Promotions card at the Wellsprings Leisure Centre.
Dodge, who weighed in as a super-feather but was a lot bigger by fight time, looked sharp and fast as he took both centre ring and the initiative in the opener. He has an excellent engine and his constant pressure forced Davis to work hard to stay in the fight and then to seek to hold as the contest progressed.
