It’s easy to get swept up in the excitement of building a bespoke home. However, before you can even break ground, you’ll need to get the relevant permissions in place from your local authority. The planning process can present a stumbling block for even the most carefully laid scheme, so it’s important to approach this part of the process forearmed with as much knowledge as possible.
