Mitigation measures begin at the Rest

LANDSLIDE mitigation works on the A83 at the Rest and Be Thankful are under way.

Construction teams are preparing the site for the £1.84 million project by creating safe areas and access for the teams to carry out the works.

The main task will involve the excavation of three debris flow catchpits at the bottom of the slope next to the A83.
