Study finds golden eagle numbers soaring despite wind turbines

GOLDEN eagles appear to be unaffected by the 68MW Beinn an Tuirc wind farm at Carradale, according to a near 20-year research project.

Commissioned by ScottishPower Renewables (SPR), the project concluded resident eagles are among the most successful breeders in Kintyre despite the presence of the turbines.
