First World War death commemorated

EXACTLY a century after a Glebe Street soldier was killed in 1916 during trench warfare, a service was held to mark his loss.

In a moving commemoration conducted by Reverend Philip Wallace, at Campbeltown war memorial on Tuesday evening, Sergeant Neil Brown’s death was marked by the Brown family and members of the Royal British Legion.
