A 40-STRONG group will make a pilgrimmage to Campbeltown arriving on Sunday. The highlight of the event, ‘Rosary on the Coast’, taking place nationwide round the British Isles will be a prayer on the beach or rocks at Dunaverty, Southend at 3pm.
The group heading to Kintyre will be led by Edward McGarvey. Father Tony Wood of St Kieran’s church said: ‘The purpose is a day of pilgrimage and prayer for the re-flourishing of the faith, for the grace to build a culture of Life and for true peace to reign in the hearts of all peoples and nations.’
