Mabel Rosamond Baxendale née Stewart, daughter of Professor George Stewart, only grandchild of John Stewart, aged 74 in 1990.

Established in 2011, Shopper-Aide is a charity organisation providing grocery shopping, befriending and extra household support services to older people in Kintyre. They aim to enable people to live independently in their homes for as long as possible as well as enabling them to still stay connected with their friends and their local community by allowing them to attend clubs, the shops, medical appointments, the hairdressers and much more. Shopper-Aide are looking for volunteers to help older people in our community, can you give just one hour of your time each week? Try it and see the difference one hour of your time can make.
