A History of Winning

This self-published book by former Vauxhall team manager, racing driver and mechanic Gerry Johnstone is an authentic and personal yet careerfocused autobiography from the man who orchestrated much of Vauxhallʼs 20th-century motorsport success. As the methodical foil to the exuberance of Gerry Marshall, Johnstone was the missing piece to the success Marshall and then Dealer Team Vauxhall achieved. The book gives all the behind-the-scenes information and gossip that anyone steeped in that era of motorsport would love to hear. Production values arenʼt high and the writing is raw, but this autobiography gives a fascinating new perspective to aficionados.

£40 Gerry Johnstone, self-published. ISBN 9781914584558
