In Chris Difford’s excellent autobiography Some Fantastic Place, his section on briefly managing Bryan Ferry is equally hilarious and dispiriting. According to Difford, Ferry is such an obsessive perfectionist, he prefers to literally rearrange his office furniture to writing new songs.
