Why don’t Motorpsycho sell more records than they do? It’s a question that’s rung down the ages since, well, at least since the late 80s when the band’s Trondheim-based core of (bassist/vocalist) Bent Sæther and (guitarist/vocalist) Hans Magnus Ryan first set out to fashion the serially ambitious, pigeonhole-averse, psych-adjacent progressive rock that’s defined the band’s sound since 1993’s Demon Box.
