There are a lot of specifications you need to take into account when buying a new monitor, including screen size, resolution, refresh rate and colour accuracy. The Lenovo Legion R25F-30 is a reasonably priced monitor aimed at gamers rather than everyday Windows users, so it doesn’t prioritise size and resolution, but focuses instead on refresh rate and colour.
The screen measures 25 inches across the diagonal and has a 1080p (1920x1080 -pixel) resolution. If you mostly use your PC setup to work on large spreadsheets and long documents, or to edit high-resolution photos, then a larger screen with a higher resolution might be more appropriate.
On the other hand, if you like to play games such as Microsoft Flight Simulator, then the 280Hz maximum refresh rate will make busy graphics appear smooth and realistic. Add to this its ability to recreate 99 per cent of colours in the sRGB standard and 90 per cent of DCI-P3, and you have games that look pretty much exactly as their creators intended. We tested it with several titles and they all looked fantastic.
