Enhance your searches with AI Mode

Google’s new AI Mode is now available in the UK, adding an AI Mode button to the search box on the Google homepage (see screenshot below). Click this after entering your search query to view a detailed answer that summarises information from multiple websites.

You can then ask AI Mode follow-up questions, either by typing or speaking them – or by uploading an image. Google suggests the feature could be useful for “comparing products, planning a trip or understanding complex how-tos” – the more elaborate your queries, the better its responses.
