Jago & Litefoot Series 11

RRP £35 (CD box set), £30 (download)

Of all the Doctor Who spin-offs curated by Big Finish, Jago & Litefoot is perhaps the easiest fit for the audio medium. Two parts drawing room comedy to one part action thriller, its witty scripts are a gift to any actor, from theatrical impresario Henry Gordon Jago’s famously florid circumlocutory promulgations to a whole supporting cast of gorblimey cockney coppers, barmaids and dollymops. For a purported sci-fi show, Doctor Who has always had one foot in the music hall: Jago & Litefoot just pulls the other foot in as well.
