They used to say that if you can remember the 1960s, you weren’t really there. Alexandra Tynan definitely was there. As a young fashion graduate living and working in London – the world’s newly minted style capital – she was closer to the epicentre of that decade’s culture quake than most. But her recollections don’t quite match the version in the history books.
