First issued in 1988, Dapol’s creamjacketed Seventh Doctor (see page 78) was later released with a dark brown jacket, to tie in with the character’s appearance in the 1989 season. Companion Mel was also issued in blue-and-white garb (right), not wholly unlike her outfit in Paradise Towers (1987).
Character’s first Seventh Doctor, in 2010, was a smiling, hat-wearing, cream-jacketed version with umbrella accessory (below centre), released in a twin-pack with an Imperial Dalek from Remembrance of the Daleks (1988). He lost his hat and gained a ‘serious’ head in a 2013 Toys R Us exclusive that paired him with a Renegade Dalek from the same story (below left).
