A s the title suggests, Please, Touch The Artwork is an invitation to break the sacred barriers of the art gallery and mark the exhibits with your fingerprints. It reframes clinical displays of art as a conversation, not to be merely observed but reinterpreted and toyed with. Its method is stylish intertextuality, flooding the work of abstract modernist Piet Mondrian with a wider cultural context of biblical references, jazz, poetry and puzzles.
