Itch.io
In June 2020, Itch launched the Bundle For Racial Justice And Equality in support of protests against police brutality in the United States following the death of George Floyd. It began as a paywhat-you-want bundle of 749 projects but more developers joined during its ten-day run and by its end it included 1,704 games, books, tools, soundtracks, comics and more, raising an astonishing $8.1 million. The scale and breadth of the bundle was a snapshot of what Itch had become since it was founded by Leaf Corcoran in 2013.
