Take your lipstick cue from the catwalks and go bold. Try a deep red à la Balmain and Hermès or test out pastel pink as seen at Blumarine (right). Whatever colour you choose, Kirstie Murphy from Team Tilbury, Charlotte Tilbury’s expert group of make-up artists, has the key to making it last. “Lip liner is a girl’s best friend,” she says. “You can define the shape of the lips and then use the colour to fill them in to create a base for extra staying power.” For a hot orange-red, apply Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips in Tell Laura (below right) over your lip-liner base and then blot with tissue to mattify and keep the colour lasting for even longer.
