Jessica celebrates after her historic heptathlon victory at the 2012
Olympics. She was made a dame in the 2017 New Year Honours List
She was the toast of the nation when, as JessicaEnnis, she powered to an Olympic gold medal in the heptathlon on London 2012’s historic Super Saturday. And no one was prouder than fiancé Andy Hill, her childhood sweetheart, whom she married the following year in a beautiful ceremony in Derbyshire’s Peak District.
Ten years on, Andy and Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill are parents to son Reggie, nine, and daughter Olivia, six, and are still very much a winning team – with laughter, says Jessica, helping to keep the romance alive.
“He’s got a great sense of humour. I think that’s something really important in a relationship,” the retired athlete tells hello!.
