A-LIST HANDBAG DESIGNER ON HER GREEK GETAWAY AND CONTINUING THE SWAROVSKI FAMILY LEGACY

In the heart of her family villa in Porto Heli, handbag designer Marina Raphael, a sixth-generation member of the Swarovski family, stands poised in the living room, where the villa’s interior mirrors its seaside surroundings.

The whitewashed walls serve as the backdrop to an impressive art collection, while wooden vaulted ceilings add warmth. Bursts of coral hues thread throughout the space, adding to its coastal charm.

Marina, 26, elegant in a cowl-necked gown, carries a handbag from her own luxury brand, which boasts a clientele including Jennifer Lopez, Katie Holmes, Adjoa Andoh, Queen Máxima of the Netherlands, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Paris Hilton.

Behind her are a pair of circular sculptures discovered during a holiday with her mother Anouchka Rafail, a trustee of the Swarovski Foundation and managing director of the family holding.

“I acquired them during a girls’ trip to Istanbul,” Marina tells hello!. “Their intricate design and cultural essence transcend mere decoration – these pieces serve as cherished reminders of the unforgettable moments I shared with my mother.”
