Monitor your Mac with Stats
Add menu bar items that provide detailed information on macOS
Activity Monitor is good for monitoring what is happening under the surface of the Mac user interface. With an iMac, its window can be placed in the corner of the screen to keep an eye on CPU and RAM usage, disk and network activity. MacBooks don’t have enough screen space and the window gets in the way, but there is a solution.
Stats is a free app that is like having Activity Monitor in your menu bar. Go to github.com/exelban/statsand click ‘Latest’ in the sidebar to download and install it. Run it to add the stats you need to the menu bar. It not only adds Activity Monitor information, it is customisable and offers even more information, like replacing the time remaining to the battery level indicator.
