Merge your fitness data from any tracker
Apple Health can accept fitness data from non-Apple devices if you tweak some crucial settings
We all know that Apple likes to keep their services and products secure within their ecosystem and this works well, but it can cause problems if you want to use non-Apple products with some of the more useful Apple services. Add to this the fact that other manufacturers, such as Fitbit and Garmin, try to urge users to use their own ecosystems and it can lead to a lack of choice for the consumer when it comes to managing all of their health data in one place. There are, however, a few things you can do to bring your data together, and although it means jumping through some setup hoops, the end result will be well-worth the effort. We will cover example options in this tutorial, but there are more available.
