NOW THAT WE are into the second century of iScot Magazine editions, I’d like to extend my sincere thanks and congratulations to Editor Ken McDonald, the driving force behind the iScot Magazine. Scotland needs pro-Indy media, and iScot is a vital part of this. It has passed the 100 mark, and I look forward to the next 100.
On a personal note, I owe Ken a great deal. It was back in 2018 that I contacted him to ask whether he would consider publishing an article about apps which can help people who have lost their sight. He invited me to send in a piece and, luckily for me, he liked it enough to print it in the next issue of the magazine. He then asked if I could send in regular contributions, and I reckon this is the 48th Talking Tech I’ve written for the magazine. The great thing about this is the feedback I receive either via Ken or on social media. I’m far from a tech expert, but I do use tech in my daily life, and it is wonderful that so many people have been in touch to thank me for what I’ve written.
