Self-confessed grow your own enthusiast Hayley Moisley has been growing her own produce since she was 22. Since then she has taken on two plots, several ex-battery hens and gained a lot of knowledge and experience. KG caught up with her to find out more about her passion for growing

After a year of growing a couple of crops in my parents’ garden they suggested I apply for an allotment. It was a whole new concept to me but they were encouraging. I now realise they were so supportive so they could reclaim their garden from my jungle of butternuts!
