Hester Van Wijngaarden and Tom Hiscocks Dutch artist, Hester Van Wijngaarden will be showing her latest work at the Osborne Studio Gallery, 2 Motcomb Street, London SW1, from 1 to 20 December. Largely self-taught, Hester’s figurative paintings are inspired by three animals – the bull, the elephant and the horse venerated in art since ancient times, which she captures with a limited and subdued palette in oils. Her work will be accompanied by British sculpture, Tom Hiscocks, who works mainly in copper, stainless steel, acrylic and wood, also inspired by animals. For more information visit www.osg.uk.com
