Back to the Abyss

The first few sessions saw me chasing fish all over the pit; fishing four swims over four nights. The first ended in a blank after dropping on small shoals, only for them to drift off. The following session, however, I dropped on a huge shoal in Pallet Corner, yet by the time I got the rods out and spodded a few kilos of boilies onto the spot, the fish were gone. I hoped they would drift back in but at dusk I could see them crashing in huge numbers in the opposite corner. I decided to stay put for the night and see what happened.

I’d heard nothing show in my swim all night and at dawn they were still crashing in the far corner.
