It’s a pleasure to be introducing the second part of this special edition on art and mental mealth.
Art and art therapy has been an interest of mine throughout my career and I’d encourage readers to cast their critical eyes over each of the articles and to think about what this means in clinical practice and the mental health agenda more broadly.
A friend of mine once gave me some sage advice, which was that in life you should always do what makes your soul sing. Appreciating and participating in art is up there for me as one of my favourite soul-enriching experiences.
