HELLO JUNE 1977
I was a soul boy that could play the drums, signing on and hanging around in Wood Green waiting for Armageddon or whatever it is you do when you’re a late teenager. A friend of mine, [guitarist] Mark Ryan – Adam called him The Kid – called me and said that the drummer in this punk rock band he was in had a car accident or something, and could I stand in? I just said, Yeah, come over.
