YASIN AKGUL/AFP/GETTY;

On February 5, a Pegasus Airlines Boeing 737 crashed after skidding off the runway while landing at the Sabiha Gokcen airport. The plane, which carried 180 passengers from the Aegean port city of Izmir, split into three parts after landing in severe weather. Officials said no one lost their lives in the crash but outside reports put the number of deaths at three, at least. All of the other passengers were reportedly injured.
