THE Three Chimneys team started the season in spectacular style with a trio of awards at the inaugural Scottish Food Awards.
The remote island restaurant was awarded a gold medal for real and local food, as well as the Restaurant with Rooms of the Year award. It also collected a Geographical Food Destination award for the Isle of Skye as a whole, which certifies the region’s worldwide status for dishes that represent the incredible variety of the island’s natural larder. The winners were announced at a glittering awards ceremony and dinner, held at the Principal Hotel, Edinburgh, on Sunday May 7.
