OBAN Saints’ dream of making the Scottish Amateur Cup semi-finals for the third year in a row were dashed on Saturday when they went down 3-1 away to Goldenhill.
The Oban side led 1-0 at half time thanks to a Donald Campbell goal and could have been further in front with both Matty Kelly and Paul Carmichael missing good chances. The home side fought back and scored two quick goals at the start of the second half to take a 2-1 lead.
