The Scottish fishing community – as much if not more, perhaps, than any other industry – is facing highly uncertain times as Great Britain negotiates its departure from the European Union.
At such a parlous period in our history, you might be forgiven for thinking the UK government would be pulling out all the stops in order to preserve the viability of such an economically fragile sector. Not a bit of it, apparently.
